Happy New year everyone.

I do hope you have all had a good Christmas. I personally am happy that all the mayhem has died down and things are getting back to normal!

I must say I have not spent as much time on the site since it has changed. I can't put my finger on why not. It just doesn't seem as 'personal' anymore perhaps.... anyway, I hope you are all well and have a great year

The forum has definitely gone through a change and the barrel has been shaken up by the staff and a lot more newbie lurkers are now taking part, you'll find it is still as personal - perhaps less personal comments being banded about though which is good. We've still got scalliwags, know it alls and sarcastics (it's an electricians forum after all) but it's a cool place to hang out. You have been missed HHD, thought you were just onto your first million and didn't have time for us! Happy New year.

Steve, Glad to see you back and posting. Re the forum, yeah I like to think the staff have put a lot of hard work in to get the place to somewhere where everyone can feel welcome and come and find useful information and also give it, I can't say I have noticed that it's lost it's personal touch maybe more professional so that could be it perhaps!!
I know for a fact @Dan has spent a lot of money and time getting the forum looking fresh and smooth running, so maybe the new look could be giving you a different feeling, but it's like anything new we all have to wear it into that comfortable pair of slippers again, I for one much prefer it now to the days of old. I know you remember those days.
And failing all the above, if you want that personal feeling you can always come and get an Ape Hug
That aside, get back into the habit of posting again and it will all fit back into place.
