that is the schneider design, same as the square D boards. L busbar is cranked behind the N. makes you thing when fitting the tails .....L is on right N on left.Put RCD on other side and move neutral bar over too.
Bring cables in at top instead?
It's a KQ board based on the Square D pattern, not an acti-9.Not seen one of those before.
No sliders.
Shame about the earths.
How is the armoured going to be glanded off ?
At a guess, into the steel trunking above the board.
In the flat consumer unit end?
Looking closer at the photo of the flat end. It's not glanded, just taped up.
That’s what they wanted so that’s what they get
All circuits trip off in the event of an earth fault
Yes, think I’m starting to see that now.Cheapest option
Yes, think I’m starting to see that now.
Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m very surprised that the submains have been wired in SWA
I’m not a fan of binding cores in miles of insulating tape , it looks very amateur imo
A bit of 4mm 6mm colour sleeve would look the bizz
I prefer a single band of tape near the end of the conductor, or heatshrink.
Funny you say that
When I was learning my old boss always did it using a small single loop wrap of tape about an inch before the terminal.
But then another guy who was training me up would over sleeve the entire length of the core
Horses for courses ?
