Hi, DIY’er here.
I need a replacement transformer but can’t find the exact model required anywhere.
It is Golden Power GP-SW120DC0700(UK)
Input/Pri - 220V-240V - 50/60Hz
Output/Sec - 12V - 700mA 8.4W
Please can anyone help or suggest an alternative model that may work.
Thank you

If you are not bothered about the type of connector on the adapter, and you are happy to splice the output of the adapter directly to your christmas lights (or cannibalize the adapter you have and fit the connector from that) then you could use any 12V DC mains adapter capable of supplying 700mA or more. A 1Amp rated one would also be fine.
e.g.
or

You can find adapters that include a set of different connectors, but these tend to be jack connectors rather than for 2-pin christmas lights.
