These are the best books for having in the van with relevant day to day info as good as the on site guide for £7.00 each you will find it hard to beat these as a convenient reference book on site in my opinion. I just mention it as the new updated editions have just come out.

I was waiting for a good price on the full set of guidance notes books. No one seems to be giving much away lately.

I agree. I have the 17th edition versions. These books are indeed convenient reference books. Nice and compact, and a lot cheaper than the IET equivalents!

I would second that. I always buy these Unite Guides (formerly Amicus Guides) published by Technical Training Solutions. They really are a brilliant resource. Must get the new set ordered (and there is a discount for Union members).

Thanks for the heads up I didn't realise that they were out yet! I have these from the 16th edition onwards and they are most useful, got a good pile of them now!
Last assessment I had the guy asked what they were and had never heard of them!

Mine arrived in a couple of days . They are really impressive and neat.

Me and Vort went to the same training camp where the college lecturer liked to give these to students so I got 17th edition amd3 (if there was an update) and yes, cracking little information givers.
