Anyone any experience of the wavin underfloor heating system? Iv been informed by the homeowner that the plumber says I need 5 cores at each of the stats and that they are low voltage and programmable, now of course I can't get a hold of said plumber as he went on holidays, and I'm not sure if it's a cat 5 or belden cable required or would I run a 1.0 mm twin and earth and a 3 core & earth? Anyone familiar with the wavin ufh system?

Call wavin and ask them?

Or have a look at the wiring diagrams on their website, there's a few to look at but with a bit of common sense you will be able to work out the answer.

I'm doing a ufh system don't know what wavin means, unless it refers to pipework...........plumber told me to install cat5 cable to each stat, basically 1 stat in each room. I've installed 6pair.

PS..all to wired separately (not daisy chain) back to central position.
