Hello.
I was just wondering if I was using an arc welder, would I be able to touch the electrode as I was welding, or will this shock me?

As mentioned in an earlier post the electrode will get hot and will burn. Set the amperage too high or reverse the leads on a dc welder and you may see it glow red.
