What's the best price you can find on a 2 x Drill Combo?
And do I really need the new hammer type at all?

Any Good make is fine. The batteries in them all are pretty good.

Hammer is probably useful for around the house - at some stage you'll want to drill into masonry. If it's for occasional use take a look at MacAllister from B&Q/Screwfix. Combi drill probably around £50 with a couple of batteries and charger. Combi drill/impact driver set probably under £100.

Late last year I used power tool world.
They constantly had the best price
Don't leave it to long as did on some things and found the price had gone up quite a bit.
Seems they price match prity much anything on the internet so if that price goes up so does there's

Screwfix have a deal on atm for erbauer combi drill set with 2 x 5 amp batteries, which is pretty good considering that the 5 amp batteries are £60 each.

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but screwfix also has a “centenary” edition drill driver from dewalt.

Pure black instead of the normal yellow.

That’s going to be hard to spot in a dimly lit work environment…..
