Hi guys,
just bought a new build home as a buy to let property
I want to install a intruder alarm, can anyone recommend a good wireless system or are they rubbish ?or should I go with a wired system
any info would be greatly received
cheers
paul

wired is cheaper to buy materials, but wireless is far quicker to install. i recommend the gardtech 600 panel with wired keypad and ext. siren. wireless detectors. some members swear by other makes.

gardtech is made by risco.co.uk . based in middleton, manchester. you would need to sign up for a trade account ( not necessarily credit) to get the trade prices. they only supply direct to installer, not through wholesalers.

I've installed a few visonic wireless alarms over the years
(don't do many tbh) but never had any problems at all
take about 3 hours to fit and batteries last roughly 3 year
you can go as deep as you want aswell but I just keep it simple
