Discuss XL Veto Pro Pac Tool Bag in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I carry a Bosch 10.8V lithium drill/driver in my XL but you cannot really fit a real sized drill in there. Also it's a no with the hacksaw as well. The XXL version is more suited as it only has pockets in one side so the other is ideal for bulky tools etc.

Coinsidently if anyone here wants a BRAND NEW XL Veto zipped top, PM me. I have one going for £110 delivered. Bought 4 weeks ago from Beesleys for £133 (reciept included for warranty) but decided to buy an LC instead as my extra tools were not enough to fit the XL. It is 100% new and comes with strap, all boxed ready to go.

Take that back you can fit a full size drill.

Can you fit A4 test sheets in the zipped compartment of the XL?

Just been paid and i'm looking to spend! My dewalt bag weighs more than me at the moment. Its only good feature is that it stops people trying to borrow my tools as they can never find anything!

Just bought a Veto Pro Pac LT-XL after wanting one for ages. Though, B*gger it and got one, can always offset it against wages.
It's true what they say, they really are exceptional bags. Made from the Toughest cordura in the industry with real leather detail. The carrying capacity is second to none. Details like magnetic shoulder strap which is kept out of the way then put down and pocket arrangement really stand out. It really is a tardis.
Prolly get the mick taken for a couple of days as i've now got the gucci kit but can see this bag lasting a good few years!

Forget about carrying about a laptop unless your a 'clean' engineer etc. I use the side pockets designed for the laptop for installation certificates, Regs book, onsite guide etc. and the other side for a small tidy box bought at B&Q for crimps etc. I divvied the bag into a test side with all my test gear, calculator, gps etc and tool side the other.
Expensive bit of kit but worth it!:D
It really has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate.
