Has anyone had any dealings with these people just had them on the phone telling me they have had 500 calls last week for electricians and the few electricians they have cant keep up.

As I am already advertising in the newspaper and a monthly advestiser could it be true that we have 500 people that cant read

Just wondering if anyone has any feed back on how these people operate and are they any good. The other thread on BT has me wondering.

Sounds dodgy to me, check out the website, yellow.com, they specifically say that they do NOT phone people up as I read it.

Thats what I thought when I went onto the website its american and would not recognise a UK postcode.

Anyone else got any feedback or am I the first in the UK to get a call

i was registered with yell.com a year ago as a domestic spark. they are part of the yellow pages group and offer free advertising on the internet, similar to google. after registering all i got were phone calls from other marketing companies who tried to sell me evreything from insurance to their services as employment agents. i think in 12 months i actually got 2 possible leads from potential customers.
in my case it was more trouble than it was worth

I`ve just started with yell.com and have had few wee things but nothing major. If the works not there it won`t really matter how much we advertise. Again got loads of calls for other advertising which didn`t interest me in the slightest.
