HI All Think nvq expires means that the op has come to the end of the period (1 year i think) from the date of sign up after which the op either re- pays entirely ( starts again form scratch) or tries to extend on a month by month paid basis (fees payable).
Assessor built i believe is where the...
Fantastic News .. Year 2 of 4 or 5? Did the sjib adult course change its time frames., in line with the other courses. I understand the need for Ev/Pv awareness .

EV-Ultra SWA Cable 3 Core 4.0mm² + CAT5E Data - Cut to Length | DC (EV-ULTRA3C4.0CAT5SWA) -...
i haven,t completed this but a former work colleague did,he had previously mostly fiinished an apprenticeship .He had to also do the 2391 before he was issued a card . Another guy met was looking at the cec and was antecdotaly informed about the 2391 as well.
One thought might be go the...
Hi Rd32 I cannot recommend this or advise against this what i can say is that in Scotland the Sjib has only two routes the apprentice route and the cec route.
The apprentice route has the sub route for adult s.
These routes MUST have an employer backing
In England However there is a third...
As for your thoughts on getting a db from a skip, i bought a garage 2/3/way populated rcd main swtch from screwfx for not a lot of pennies which could likely be used somewhere else after the test rig. IF you choose the right course provider you might get lucky enough to have access to a suitable...
This has to be the most profound bit of advice given on this forum in years.
Having passed this course in its current format .
I would say get the ticket . Now get ready to learn.
I am guessing you are based in England why dont you get work as an agency Mate .Get some experience do the regs do a 2391 and an nvq and skip the apprentice bit completely. Then learn on the job and get yourself more rounded with experience.
hi I would guess that they wont let you skip bit on the adult course But given you have done the hnc it should be an easy coast through the course. On the other hand you could stickin study hard and get top marks trying for a sectt prize. IF you want an easier route that Hnc will almost...
IF you have an opportunity to get on the Sjib adult scheme JUMP at it ,im sure they would allow your previous experience to count as for the rate short term it might be poorish but theres always overtime etc to make it up or horse trading etc as you get more experience the rate will go up .The...
the wage structure which i cant remember is on the sjib website for electrical labour But if you are working as labour via an agency which is the most likely event it should be slightly better.. I am guessing you should get £11+ possibly £14/15. once you tick the boxes and get that nvq finished...
Someone recently was on the forum from Aberdeen, he had an Hnc as well. So i am thinking you might be worth looking South of the Border to get qualified. Granted that its not going to be the sjib recommended / Only method of Apprenticeship But has been done. To get some hands on experience and...
Hi Gavin As far as i am aware to get these qualifications involves travelling south of the border and theres Nothing that would suit self funded in Scotland. The Sjib / sectt adult apprenticeship scheme is a possibility but is difficult to get on. The other possibly is the Sjib CEC scheme again...
