the cable goes directly to the consumer unit fuse, not sure that there is any othet method!!- Adam F

The cable is 6.00mm2 twin & earth with a 46amp rating. the circiut breaker states on it 40amp- Adam F

I mean 1-Gang Cooker Switch with LED, i already have one for the first oven and would use another for the microwave/oven combi. As the circuit wire is 45 amp on a 40amp cb and both ovens together woukd be 32amp (2*16amp) this is why i think it is ok. just after confirmation, if it is ok then...- Adam F

Hi I have replaced a double oven with a single oven and a microwave/oven combi. The double oven was on its own wire to the fuse box, 40amp circuit breaker with appropriate cable. Both the new ovens say they are 16amp. Can i use a junction box on the main wire to goto 2 separate switches for each...- Adam F
