    The NIC told us that for IT equipment and areas using computers you need to use sockets with two earth terminals and connect each cpc seperately. Also at the distribution board the two cpc's from your ring need to be terminated in seperate terminals on earth bar. Not sure what reg number was tho.

    There should be a box at top of circuit designation page that says "If not fed from origin please state details" or something along them lines.

    Most people do ask for niceic as i think its a name they are used to seeing. But sounds like Napit and Elecsa are making a breakthrough.

    Self Employed - Who's busy, who's not

    We have been quiet the last 3 months, mainly do commercial work like office fit outs etc but have also tried to get into the domestic side whilst quiet e.g estate agents/letting agents in hope of picking up a few periodics and remedial works, nothing has materialised from this tho as of yet.

    CU Change - No main earthing on water main. Polypipe incomer

    Na you will have to make sure the earthing is in place yourself, otherwise the trade body your using will prob fail you for energising the supply without the adequate earthing in place.
