Just checking here then.
If an install already has (44kw) panels on a 40kw of inverters previously installed.
And they are allowed via local grid to add another 25kw inverter this still comes under MCS accreditation doesnt it for the second install.
and the client can still apply for fits...
Im going to ask a question openly as a situation has arisen.
We are quoting at the design stage of a new building for the electrics and the customer has requested (and we have verified with Local power supplies) that they want a 75kw system.
Do we have to pay more fees to the MCS or any other...
Im going by your statement that they arent removing the system and refitting. To secure those cables means just that basically. They are going to have to scaffold and remove the panels etc.
The DC cables are unsupported below the inverter in the report. No mention of under the panels.
I doubt they will do anything with the ones under the panels.
Im afraid i cannot, its one i found online, the link is as follows though so you can read through it. I wanted to see one so i could see what was involved.

I agree it may be a good investment, the issue is the contract itself, i wondered if someone had a copy, or is willing to let me have a copy of theirs so i can see what is involved.
Just asking at this stage, has anyone actually got a contract they use or have used for this type of activity.
I have a relative that would like panels but cannot afford it, and now he would like me to put them on at no cost to him and i rent the roof.
now you know what its like, relatives...
Because your not altering the actual wiring you wouldnt be under any issues as long as you notified the client there is an issue (that said we pre notify and ask to wire it)
The main thing that IS required is making sure that the stat has the dual cut out, that is more important.
This is the headline
To me that could read that FITS are ending for new installations from 2015, so hopefully that is just bad wording on the BBC website.
Lincolnshire, Mine heated the water from start of April and ive just had to this last weekend put mine on from the mains as well. A continuous period of free hot water, the advantage even though your heating it up using gas/electric, is it is always topping the tank up to temperature so your...
