Yes I installed dedicated 32A radial circuit 4mm T and E partly in conduit outside weatherproof unswitched 13A double socket 45A isolator switch in meter cupboard.
Thank you Kingeri and handysparks, I thought of Henley blocks but there is no space at all anywhere, its boxed in old iron made fuse box /meter , I was wondering if there is anything that can be used to connect on the busbar itself? as there are two spare spaces but no way to connect the R1...
New one way rcd protected cu to be installed but the old fuse box (no rcd) main switch does not have space for the R1 wire that is to be connected though the Rn an R2 can be easily connected in the old fuse box, the busbar itself has couple of unused spaces but I can not find any MCBs that will...
I must be confused about some wording,
Light circuit R1+R2 is 1.84 Ze measured = 0.28
So if I do Ze +(R1+R2) I get 2.06
Maximum Zs allowed is 6.14
actual measured Zs is 0.88
This measured Zs is much lower than the max value, I know higher is not good but lower Zs leads to any problems ??
Hi Engineer54, I dont know how it was originally, all I know is that they had one ring circuit for upstairs-downstairs alltogether and it was split into two few years ago. I think its all there apart from the accessible bit- I am going to treat them as safe they are all labeled above floor...
Sockets were not moved at all, I was told that its done (2006-07 ish) to split one ring into two rings, up and down stairs plus some additional sockets downstairs.
