Would any fellow electricians consider using an open PEN device to protect a metal trailer used as a "Canteen". It is likely to be often connected to TNCS (forbidden by 717.411.4) and placed on concrete which makes the use of TT and rod impossible. I can draw similarity to an EV charge point...
That's intersting to hear. I met a Lewden rep at a show and he told me about the Fusebox recall. He said Lewden AFDDs had no problem because they were all tested in the UK and not China.
They have wheels. The wheels are only for positioning to a fixed site (solid steel, no tyres). I understand it is a planning regs "get-out", that's the only reason they have wheels at all. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
We have been asked to install electrics in a Shepherds Hut. Just looking for consensus of opinion as to which part of the regs applies. I am leaning towards a "Park Home" which is not a Special Installation I believe. There are parts of section 7 which could also be applied, caravan, mobile home...
