I just installed a 4th brake light on my 2014 scion frs wired thru my tail lights. The moment I hit the brakes my abs and traction control lights turn on. I thought of installing 1way diodes to stop reverse flow of curent do you guys think that may work? Or is there something else I should do?

I'd fix the fault rather than trying to bodge it with diodes. What is the reason for keeping on changing the lamps?

Sorry, just realised you are adding an extra light. As Brian says, what happens when you remove it? And remember with modern wiring systems (ie CANBUS), it's not always as easy to just make changes.

What's the reason for wanting a 4th brake light out of interest?
