I was helping out on o job this weekend, helping canerabloke really, anyway customer was having a log cabin style thingy put up in his garden, couldn't on Sat because it was raining, AWWWWW Bless, came in on Sunday sun shining 2 young lads barely out of School uniforms, (sorry they don't wear them much now do they) got right up to the eaves and found they were about 2 inches out of level. not a happy customer, and the cheeky gits walked off the job saying "can you give us a reference? and we can't finish cause it's your fault it's not level, can you believe it? Just thought it was funny that's all, although not for the customer.

some years back I was asked to do some work on an extension around the corner from me,anyway the builder had made a right mess, the main roof bearer was attached to the wall with 4 10mm frame fixings and the outriggers were in several pieces, building control came out and went spare, then the owner decided to sue the builder and wanted me there as a witness!Blimey all I went to do was add a couple of sockets and sort some water pipes out.Trouble was I knew the builder as well,so I had to tell him that while I agreed it was a mess I didn't want to get involved, stuck my neck out before with things like this and ended up being the one holding the crap end of the stick!
