) when we edit a thread or post. Or even move a thread from one forum to another.
It has the option for a reason, so if we've left a reason in the edited post, it'll show you in the PM to. If we haven't and we're clearing up trolling or abusive content you've replied to or something of that nature, then we wont always provide a reason, and it can cost moderators a lot of time responding to requests for a reason, so don't bother asking please. If they wanted to provide one, they would have done. If they haven't, they're not going to, and you could be seen as wasting their time.
