Hi there,
Excuse if a daft question but should PAT testing include all spare cable and chargers ? ie we have several boxes of unused spares (laptop chargers etc) which are likely to never be used but kept just in case. I presume they should be tested as they could be used at any point or disposed of

Test them as per the CofP for ISITEE, if they are BER or surplus to requirements scrap them

The Duty Holder should be telling you what they need inspected and tested. It shouldn't be for you to second guess.
 
If there is a chance that one or two may be needed in the future then keep them in a locked quarantined area (no one else has access) and test items as and when needed. Alternative, stuff them on ebay. Some people will buy any old junk!
 
It's ISITEE...if not "in service" leave it. If likely to be "in service" at some point then I'm with Risteard on this.
However, if they are happy to pay you to test them, go ahead, provided they are paying. However also, have seen stickers moved...
