Best place for UK electricians to work abroad?

I'm a UK trained electrician AM2, 2391 ETC, wanting to work abroad (when possible) and wanted to know the best places to work without having to retrain.

Agree with Pete there is good money to be made in free state. Money in North is probably similar or less to mainland.

Dublin is 24ph paye and 30+ accommodation for self employed if ya get onto the bigger sites

A friend of mine moved to France a few years ago and makes a fantastic living as sparks out there.
He had to jump through a few hoops initially but is well settled now

Yep was rang about Scandinavia, but couldn't as British passport.

The CTA (common travel area) between UK and ROI is to the best of my knowledge still in operation.The last I heard, both governments were committed to keeping it in place.

It was more in respect of the wider suggestions , not any specific one.

It is now no longer possible to just work throughout the eu, you either need visas, or have already emigrated, or go through immigration processes.

As for the cta, who knows, no promiseses appear to be being kept.
