If they are in contact with the ground they will introduce an earth potential and will need main bonding.....if not they wont introduce an earth potential and so wont need main bonding.
 
If they are completely buried and no part of them is accessible above ground there should be no need to bond, that is unless they are within an agricultural or similar location in which case they would need bonded. hope this helps
