They still have to pay the VAT, is only that when they submit accounts for the end of the financial year they dont pay VAT on it, Its called capital allowances.

I've just received my brand new bosch 18v sds with 2x3Ah batteries, L Boxx case etc, of Ebay. £316 all in. It was an 'E' stock machine.....

Bosch GBH 18V-Li Cordless Rotary Hammer (2x3A)in L-Boxx on eBay (end time 17-Jan-11 00:20:43 GMT)

Edit: I'm very pleased with it, tis a brand new machine. He seems to have a few 'E' stock items in his shop, might be worth waiting for the next 18v sds to come on.

Noticed that the other week, didn't have the cash spare at the time, bummer!

Re: Can anyone foind this cheaper

Thanks @antimatter, was looking for it as well. How will the price change if you're not VAT registered?

If you are VAT registered, you can offset the VAT you pay on items, when you submit your tax returns, you have to turn over a certain amount of cash before you can do this though, but it does mean you can claim back items such as tools, equipment, even entertaining customers / clients is allowed under self employment rules.
