Lighitng Fault - lights go off but then come back on without tripping

Hi can anyone help me with this, basically this was happening before i changed the consumer unit (it had an old push in cartridge one before with a 13 amp fuse in it) and i have installed two lighting circuts instead of the original 1 which had 11 lights on it and was fed off a 1mm with joints everywhere. i am sure i have seen this problem on here somewhere before but cannot find the possible soultion so i went ahead and did this in the hope this would stop the possible volatge drop if it is that

Any wise old heads have any other ideas as to what i might be if the fault re apperas?

what were your test results like, before you changed the unit? was your R1+R2 high? was your Zs high? any IR problems?

Sounds like a loose connection that is heating up/opening under load then cooling and closing, ligts on, lights off, lights on with no tripping
