done work for company for a couple weeks in a row first couple invoices paid fine on time money wasnt great ended up loosing money but was testing the water basically ,

came to larger job money was just the same i was loosing money , so i told them i cant do it for this amount and was told to leave basically , now they owed me from the previous week but havent paid me and say they have passed it to there solicitor basically to persue me for not carrying out the work ,

havent signed anything prior to commencing any work it was job to job basis corresponding via email .

the job i refused to do i was sent details of it on a weekend and was expected to start the monday without seeing the job

You need to inform them that in England and Wales unless a contract of employment is signed then no such contract exists and they owe you the money and a barrister would rip them to bits in court. However your a Jock, your rules are different and I am unsure about Scottish Law.

im pretty sure its the same in scotland , never signed any paperwork , done a weeks work they wont pay ,

the job i refused to do wasnt profitable so i didnt do it , but i refused to do it on the day it was to be completed because this was the first and only time i could see it

wise move.

though maybe you should "thank" MDJ for "thanking" me for helping with your problem , if you catch my drift......

So...the money that you are owed is from a PREVIOUS project, as the one you walked from you didn't actually start it???

Get yourself yound to the office im sure youll have more chance getting anything that way. Any chance of naming and shaming. So no one else makes the same mistake
