I have installed outside socket by spuring of a socket from inside the house..(straight off the back of it. No distance). I am now wanting to put an outside socket at the bottom of the garden roughly 20 metres away for a hot tub or speakers etc..... I have bought 6mm 3 core armoured cable..... its going to be in a protective pipe at the correct depth etc... I wondered whether I could spur it off the outside socket or would it be best to go straight to the fuse box.... I know what the best thing to do is but would the spur work too.... the outside soxket is rcd

You cannot spur from a spur as you risk overloading the cable supplying the first spur.

As for wiring for a hot tub, I'll leave that for someone else.

How much power does the hot tub take? 6mm is a bit hefty to come off a socket circuit.

and armoured cable doesn’t need additional mechanical protection

2kw.... but that's not all the time as the hot tub would only be used occasionally... (inflatable one) it would normally be just a sonos speaker.. or something like that.... the outside socket that's there is directly behind an inside socket... so I was going to wire the armoured cable the same way....
