    Ever heard of a contactor? Fit it at the start of the circuit. Control it via a em push stop button.

    If you terminate ths"string" to earth you will find you get a lower zs reading. This actually works.

    How accurate would the reading be? Want to do a quick test before the supply company comes to connect up. Don't have a proper earth rod tester but do have an Eli tester.
