I'm moving out of a property and have some stuff to get rid of.
I have this 24v Dewalt drill, I believe the motor and speed controller work, some of the casing is missing, although I might have it.
If anyone wants it they can have it, either pick up or pay postage. I'm guessing £12 via parcelforce.
Hello all,
I've recently built a outhouse, and when I wired it I drilled through the roof joists, as going round the perimeter is a pain. It is in no way going to affect the structure as the roof joists are 6 by 2 and are far over specced for what they are doing or will ever do. I was hoping to...
Anyone know if its ok to drill through a conservatory?

Looking to purchase my first SDS for domestic chasing and drilling in more stubborn stonework. Have been looking at Bosch GBH 3kg and equiv Makita HR2811 which is £80 cheaper. Any thoughts or experiences with these or alternatives. Both corded as cant justify extra £100 or so for less powerful...

Choices to make...
All with 2 li-on batteries...
Makita (£139)
Dewalt (£149)
Hitachi (£99)
I've heard not to go near the Hitachi and the price tends to suggest it might be a false economy but if anyone has one please feel free to correct me...
What's the general Dewalt vs Makita consensus?

ALDI are currently selling a set of three 1m SDS drill bits, 12mm 16mm and 24mm for £10. Not something I would expect to use much and not something I would expect to be great quality, but for that price I think worth having in stock.
