Hi,

where re can I get a 12v 4 Pole NC contactor capable of day 50A or more...?

i can't seem to find one, the alternative is can I pull a contactor on with 230v that's closing or opening 12v circuits? Seems wrong to mix ELV with LV.

I'll keep looking online.

what I'm trying to do is make a setup that will when 230v is present it opens the contactor to prevent all the neutrals on the batteries being connected.

quite common to have a contactor with elv coil switching a 240V load, so can't see a problem with you using it arse about face like you describe.
