Hi all,

just a bit of advice really

I'm 1st fixing a barn conversion with no loft

what's the best way of wiring coax?
They want tv points in 2 bedrooms, lounge & kitchen

wondered what methods people use

many thanks

Jon

Is it just basic tv outlets they want? Or is it more sophisticated e.g Sky etc.

The usual method (for houses, I have never done a barn, city boy ya see) is usually to run seperate coax's to your outlet points from a central location, as there's no loft you'll have to find a suitable place. Then you can put all of your cables into a splitter or booster, with just the one cable connecting into the aerial.

Use sat. grade co ax and run 2 to each plate from your central location.
Then you can have a sky plus box (2 cables) in any room if required or freesat or digital tv.
And of course when you are done, and its decorated, and her changes the room layout you may have spare cables????
