Agreed as above! The original post is over two years old but gets a debate still going about wiring a two way lighting circuit!

I was always told when using twin and earth on a 2 way lighting circuit from your ceiling rose take your common to L1 and switch live to L2 then to switch 2 you run a 3 core and earth and then go L1 to L1, L2 to L2 then common to common you don't crimp anything.
It sounds a bit like "live" but the spelling is different

lol what I don't understand though one of my tutors said not to wire it like that because there is a permanent live in the switch ? is'nt there a permanent live in the switch on a one way light as well ? in twin and earth that isQUOTE
