This is another good example of where the regs should be clearer. Personally I don't like putting isolators in cupboards, but occassionally its the only way.
Some would say that the units once installed are part of the fabric of the building, personally I dont like them in cupboards but if the client insists....if you read the building regs it does say where practicable should be fixed to the fabric of the building and not the kitchen units
