Hi, just got a couple of 3m led strips to go up each side of a customers stairs, but they aren't the ones with the hard gel covering (I didn't realise when purchasing), question is are they safe to install as they are or would someone get a shock off them if the touched the positive and neg bits exposed?
 
Buy a can of comformal coating from maplin etc, and spray over complete strip, will protect strip from moisture. Units are selv at 12v so not dangerous
