Boiler fused spur in bathroom enclosure?

Hi, installing a boiler fused spur in the boiler enclosure in a bathroom.
yes or no?

I understand the regs say that any switch gear (unless it's SELV or PELV) in zone 2 is not permitted but I was thinking maybe the enclosure negates this, as it is acting as a barrier from the bathtub.

What do you mean by a “boiler enclosure”?

Is it in a room off the bathroom with a substantial door, or within something like a kitchen cabinet?

So the boiler is in the bathroom at the foot of the bathtub and will be in an enclosure similar to a kitchen unit.

It's a renovation of an old property and I don't think the builder can be bothered relocating the boiler

They might be cowboys but they are not pointing a gun at you .
if you don’t think it’s safe, don’t install it.

After discussing with the client, the spur will be outside of zones so all good.

I have addressed this issue and the client has agreed to move the bathtub so the boiler is completely out of reach. (Poor builder)
