Who likes my bonding? :)

I dedicate this post to both Geoff and Eng. I know you'll both appreciate different aspects of such a high quality job!

Nothing other than a total lack of understanding of the purpose of equipetential bonding. They probably whacked the rod straight through the incoming gas pipe for a better RA!

They haven't sealed the gap between the gas pipe and the sleeve, or between the sleeve and the wall.
So that's a fail on the current gas regs too!

yes and no (grey area)

you need to seal the hole if the hole is inside the meter box, if the hole is outside the meter box and no unless its medium pressure gas pipework and all pipework requires a protective sleeve anyway

wait till tidy boiler sees that coil of copper. it won't be there for long. :49:

It 'reminds' me of the 'work' of 'someone' who was 'keen' on 'bonding' 'things' (and 'apostrophes') but 'wasn't' entirely 'clear' about what that 'achieved'.

Onions?! Where have you been son?!

I thought you ran off with that rotter Sarz?!

Skelton not sure if rotter is a good or bad word but she really is a nice person. I speak to her quite alot about electrical stuff and she is really keen and making good progress. She could be quoting against you for work soon and i know who id want in my house .

Lol, I doubt it somehow, she don't even live anywhere near me anyway.

I'm sure she is a nice person, in person, that was never in dispute, but her behaviour on here made me very uncomfortable.

That's all I have to say on the matter.
