Hi everyone, I intend to bury a 240 volt cable from my house to my barn about 7 metres as way. It will be buried under my tarmaced drive which I own but my neighbour has access over this drive. The supply will be in a plastic conduit about 40mm in diameter. My neighbour will complain if anything is wrong so it needs to be faultless. Any help please.
Thanks,
Glynn.

Can’t run t&e outside unless it’s mechanically protected entire route… (sunlight degrades the insulation)

Suggest armoured cable.

Also suggest bolting down “traffic calming” speed bump… comes in yellow and black sections. There’s a handy recess in the bottom can be used for a cable route.

Sounds like neighbour will be difficult if you start cutting a channel through the tarmac to bury the cable

I thought it was OPs tarmac, but neighbour has right of access over it.

If there's already animosity, the time you want to cut a channel is exactly the time mr neighbour wants to use it.

Poorly worded yes it is the OPs.
Hardly going to be a trench you couldn't drive over.
