Bought a new Sony tv, and the sound on one side of speaker sounds like it distorting when it gets to a certain level (not very loud).

Bear in mind its on the side of a 13a socket powering some built in lights, but even with the switch open it still 'buzzes'. I cannot move the tv anywere else.

Not a serious problem but could it be something to do with the socket being were it is? Frequencies?

Thanks, Micky
