Cs is the soil thermal resistivity, this is a completely different thing to soil resistivity.
Resistivity (rho) is the electrical resistance per unit area of a material.
Thermal resistivity is the reciprocal of the thermal resistance of a material.

These two physical properties are very different things,
Dave I was mentioning a correction factor based on cables in soil cs which you say doesn't exist! And you've tried to turn it round

I would like to point out that I did mention correction factors in my original post. But as you've elaborated on that a bit more than my generic terminology of CF are correction factors, so be it.

And not one to really sit on a fence, i think dave is right ;)
