Can you fit a ceiling Rose on a circular fast fix box? As in, does it physically fit?

Need to fish cables out of a ceiling and want to cut a hole big enough to fit a hand through, but still be able to fit a ceiling rose.

I haven't got either with me to try it out and thought that somebody must have been in this situation and done this before.

All assistance is very much apppreciated.

    Thanks

Think you would need a very small hand to fit through the aperture of a circular dry liner box, if that's what you are proposing?

    What is the issue?

But he/she's hand won't fit, unless they got a chimney sweeps boy available;)

Cut a larger hole with a starrett saw pull cables through fix the cut out section to ceiling and then make good.

Just to be pedantic he is clearly referring to the Hoover brand of vacuum cleaner not the Dyson or Numatic (Henry) brands.

Now, where did I put my megger tester ..........,

The best solution to the OPs problem is very simple, buy a large diameter downlight and fit that instead of a pendant. :)

Next to your bubblewrap covered fibreglass frisbee that's sat on your jet ski. Next to the biro and the chapstick.
