Code for 415v behind a sink...

Doing an EICR on a commercial kitchen. 415v isolator located behind wash sink basin. Evidence of water spray over the years. How would you code this? Thanks

Whats the IP rating of the isolator?

It's the old MEM switch isolators. No labelling left on it but if I remember rightly they are maybe IP41???

And does it look dangerous to the Inspector?

At IP41 i would say not suitable as it's only protected from vertical water ingress yet could be sprayed from any angle. But my colleague is asking for a regulation to justify a C2 when he would put C3. And that's where I'm stuck lol

The Exel ones are IP41. What is it like internally.

Is there any evidence of water having got inside the isolator, and if so has it caused any damage?

If you think it is a C2 then what is the potential danger that you have identified?
