Can anyone recommend a good place to get deal on a conduit vice / bender - the free standing type. Appreciate postage might be a few quid! Thanks.

hilmor every time. the shorty is ideal if you are going to be lugging it about as it is much lighter than the full size version, but has all the same features.

Unles you have an apprentice you don't like. Those Record benders are great. We lent one to the builders on one job when they lost their sledge hammers.

They gave it back as it was to heavy for them

    :)

    On a serious note
Hilmor make a bender with a 20 and 25mm formers side by side. I would recommend DON'T BUY one of these. Initially they seem great, but having a stop permanently on the bender gets in the way. There are bends that you can pull on a normal Shortie bender that you can't pull on one of these twin former benders
