Hi all,

Does anyone here have any experience of how to fit a crossover switch for a generator?

Have just got a job in to install one for a toilet block boiler as they nearly lost it with the bad winter when the power went off. Going to have a look at the job today so will post some more details when I get the chance.

Ok folks,

Just back in from looking at the job. The story goes like this:

generator needed to run pump+boiler and toilet block lights (so customers of the park can still use the toilet). Generator rating:3.5kw. Pump+boiler covered by 16a mcb, lights covered by 6a mcb. Supply to toilet block is either a 16mm or 25mm armour cable.

I know I will need a weatherproof enclosure for the crossover switch. Can anyone recommend a switch that would be suitable for this job?
