Got a DB change to carry out in a house. 60/80 amp incomer, PME supply. Mains tails buried in walls but are double insulated. Main earth 6mm and bonding in 6mm.

The tails look in good condition. So don't want to change them as they are buried in the wall and cause unnecessary mess, but I think I need to change the 6mm main earth, but not the bonding would this be correct or am I being a bit thick in this thinking?

Took a quick Zs at the db when surveying and it was 0.14 ohms

Tails in good condition but are buried in the wall?

What size are they, 16mm2 ?

I would agree about upgrading the EC and MPB to 16/10mm2 and 10mm2, respectively.

Certainly what I can see of them yes, limited i know, but got no reason to suspect otherwise.

16mm2 tails, so thinking 10mm main earth and bonding as it is a PME
