Discuss Decent LED Floods with or without PIR in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I’m about to kit a house out with stand alone JCC nitefloods 15watt and timeguard twin head 8watt with PIR so was a hefty materials bill. Hope she pays quick. The JCCs have an adjustable bracket which I like a lot. Fitted one before, seems like it’s there to stay. IP65 as well.

Does anyone know of quality external LED floods/PIR floods in the 10-30w range that will last? Everything I fit I have to go back to. Our CEF used to supply Deluce, now Challenger. Lately it's no exaggeration to say I'm spending several hours a week going back to this crap at my own expense. Tried a Steinel unit on one job, it has a large square white front cover....4 months and the cover had split away from the frame and was full of water.
It's just not worth fitting these units with the comeback.

Luminux they are excellent,I also went through a lot of makes and had to go back and replace due to them becoming faulty.ive fitted hundreds of luminux and never had a fault.steinel are also very good but way to expensive.i do not rate jcc all made in China never tried there led floods but there downlights are rubbish
