I’m looking for a dimmer switch that works well with Sylvania’s 61405 LED wafer lights. Only two lights on the switch. I installed the switch in the picture, and it did nothing.

Thanks for your input.

Purchase you a Lutron dimmer. It seems to work the best on LED lighting

I went back and read on the box, and it stated not ALL dimmers are compatible. A friend used the same lights, so I asked him if he installed a dimmer. He replied saying yes, and sent the link to the Lutron dimmer that he installed.
Thanks for your positive input.

The Sylvania wafer light is mains powered (120V), but the dimmer you show in the photo is for low voltage (10V) lights. If you connected that dimmer to the mains I'd suggest it won't work any more 🤭, and that's the reason the light did nothing.

I didn’t post a picture of the one that didn’t work. It was a P&S Legrand. The Lutron shown is the one that a friend used, and has no problems with it.

Sorry, I was referring to your original post #1, where you include a picture of a Legrand 10V switch in its packaging, and you say it was the one you installed and didn't work. Am I going mad 🤪?

Ahhh, looking back…. I did include a picture of the one that didn’t work. I’m the one mixed up. I surely wish there were more “one size fits all” when comes to LED and dimmers, For we old guys, it’s becoming difficult to keep up with technology.
