Hi everyone, need your expertise on hot water tank set up,
theres a large hw tank with dual 2.7kw elements with stats
controller isn't working as micro switch is broken, but house has new ish economy board supplying about 7
night storage heaters but spark-plumber has installed hw tank on normal board 24-7hr supply,
question is should i move the supply over to the economy board and there is a boost function, is this supplied from 24-7 supply or is it on same as economy supply? boost is currently wired to bottom element and normal water heating is wired to the top?
i don't come across these hardly at all, I'm use to single element tanks and don't do much heating controls,
think its time i did.
any advise welcome, thanks guys.

hello i would leave it as it is & install a QE7 24 immersion timer with boost function, this has time clock for the night time function & a boost button for the day time.
