Hi All

After some advice please, going through plans on possible job. House converted into flats.

All electric (no renewable, gas, oil etc.)
Heating all UF via 'slim jim' bolier 4kw.
Water via 2 x 3kw immersions.

Should I suggest eco7/ off peak.
Wasn't sure if it would be worth it for just the immersion ?

To be honest, only ever dealt with existing eco7, not put in as new.

Thanks Sy

Economy 7 works, because storage heaters heat up at night, then release the heat during the day.
If you were to use it for UFH, wouldn’t the floor just be warm at night, and cold during the day?

Just a heads up the heatrae sadia and santon versions tend to be available cheaper....

Ive had success installing these in conjunction with a sunvic timer - cant remember the model, but you can have 24 on/offs a day ie each hour segmented, uaed in conjunction with economy10, you can program to those times to get it up to temperature at cheap rate and keep the body of the house warm at cheap times, then when it overlaps onto high rate its already up to temperature.

4kw does sound small though...
