The room gets hot but the temperature display continues to fall and thermostat never switches off as it does not recognise the increased room temperature. Yes, I have removed all packaging and followed instructions provided in terms of mounting on the wall. The radiator just plugs into standard socket. So it gets hot but the thermostat clicks off before the air temp in the room is warm. Don't take this the wrong way, did you definately remove all the packing? Is it mounted at the right height and location according to the instructions? From the little info so far I'd be looking for a lack of airflow issue maybe.
