Recently bought the above radiator, followed installation instructions and have set desired temps but when it comes on to heat the room, the thermostat keeps declining and so the room never reaches desired temperature. Any thoughts/advice?

So it gets hot but the thermostat clicks off before the air temp in the room is warm. Don't take this the wrong way, did you definately remove all the packing? Is it mounted at the right height and location according to the instructions? From the little info so far I'd be looking for a lack of airflow issue maybe.

The room gets hot but the temperature display continues to fall and thermostat never switches off as it does not recognise the increased room temperature. Yes, I have removed all packaging and followed instructions provided in terms of mounting on the wall. The radiator just plugs into standard socket.

Sounds like a faulty radiator.
return it for a replacement.
