Can anybody clarify for me what is meant by an Emergency lighting Flash Test. I am assuming it refers to the monthly check referred to in 5266-8 clause 7.2.3. Saw a job advertised for Electrician to carry out Emergency lighting Flash tests on commercial premises which they estimate to take between 3-7 days per unit. Not sure exactly what they mean.
