Discuss ESR RCD? Which manufacturer? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

They appear to be a new company based in Northern Ireland called ESR Enterprise but who knows where they source this stuff from.

agree. identical. designed for left side of CU.like M(uc)K

If it is Europa in sheeps clothing I'd avoid it. I've always found Europa to be absolute garbage.

Nah, what you want is a decent brand like Hager. Very reliable bits of kit are Hager RCDs. I really like Hager as a brand all round. Hager is where I'd go.
Just so happens I have a Hager 100A 100mA type S DP RCD for sale. Be a lot pricier than these ones mind you. PM me for prices. ;)

I've been a fan of MK rcd's for years, but for some reason they stopped making 100ma S types. My local wholesaler only stock control gear, and I've found their delay types to be awful, particularly when pv inverters are on the circuit. I've just discovered a friend of mine has about 30 meters of tails running under his floor from an exterior cut-out to the cu. No protection whatsoever, TT earth, so as a favour I'm gonna fit a fuse and rcd. Didn't want to spend a fortune though ;-) I would assume that even these cheapies have to meet a certain minimum standard and be fit for purpose?
